THE BIBLE

We believe the Scriptures are the inspired and inerrant Word of God. They are revelation from God to man and the infallible rule of faith and conduct.

THE GODHEAD

God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The three are coequal and are one God.

Father

We are invited into relationship with God, as our Father, as indicated by Jesus.

Son

Jesus Christ, who was conceived of the Virgin Mary, is the only begotten Son of the Father. He is coequal with the Father and Holy Spirit. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven and will return again someday to earth to reign as King.

Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is coequal with the Father and the Son of God. He is present in the world to make people aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He provides Christians with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. He gives every believer spiritual gifts when they are saved. As Christians we seek to live under His guidance daily.

SALVATION

Salvation is a free gift and is received by grace through faith in the person and work of Jesus Christ. Anyone can be restored to relationship as an heir of God, through repenting, believing, and receiving Jesus as their Savior and Lord.

WATER BAPTISM

We believe water baptism, by immersion, is a declaration of our identification with the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ.

EMPOWERMENT OF BELIEVERS

The indwelling of Holy Spirit enables believers to live holy and minister supernaturally. We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, with speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance, to be the initial evidence of this experience. We believe in the nine Gifts of the Spirit and encourage our people to live so that these gifts may be manifest in their lives.

COMMUNION

We believe the regular receiving of Communion is, for believers, an act of remembering what Jesus Christ did for us on the cross.

GROWING RELATIONSHIP

Every believer should be transformed into the image of Christ by obeying God’s Word, submitting to the lordship of Jesus, and yielding to the Holy Spirit.

HEALING

We believe in divine healing through faith in the Name of Jesus Christ, and that healing is included in His atonement.
